Phase 1 screening open · Selected by 4 AI integrity engines
Trust Engineer / Virtual DPO
A hybrid technical-and-legal role for people who want to operationalise privacy and trust at the intersection of code, regulation, and ethics. You'll work alongside the Srida AI agent suite on live engagements — supervising the Policy / Evidence / Control-Test / Autonomous DPO agents and owning the human judgment they can't make. Our 2026 cohort is selected through a structured 4-phase pipeline graded by both human evaluators and 4 deterministic AI integrity engines (behavioural, content, reasoning, live-interview).

What you will do
- •Build the privacy and trust engineering function for early-stage and mid-market clients across India and the EU.
- •Operate as the named DPO of record for our virtual-DPO clients - draft policies, run DSARs, conduct DPIAs, train staff, brief boards.
- •Implement technical privacy controls: encryption, access management, consent platforms, data inventory tooling, breach detection.
- •Translate between engineering and legal teams during product launches, vendor reviews, and incidents.
- •Stay current on DPDPA, GDPR, sector-specific frameworks (RBI, IRDAI, HIPAA), and emerging AI governance norms.
Who we are looking for
- •Hands-on technical foundation - you have written code, configured cloud, or read packet captures recently.
- •Comfort with regulation - you have read at least one privacy law end-to-end (GDPR or DPDPA) and can map it to controls.
- •Articulate in writing - you can explain a Schrems II implication to a CTO without losing them.
- •Comfortable being challenged - you can defend a position to a sceptical board member without folding or escalating.
- •Bias for documenting decisions, not just making them.
